Super Joey Foundation was, and will always be, inspired by one courageous and compassionate 4-year-old little boy. He was known as "Super Joey" at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Joey was born at Ventura County of California on Thanksgiving Day of 2011. He was growing up happy and healthy with his parents and his older brother until he was diagnosed with Stage-III Wilms Tumor in May 2013. Joey started his journey of fighting against cancer since then.

Joey was a big fan of superheroes and he was truly a little hero in his life as well. He was incredibly strong and overcame many challenges. He always smiled and encouraged other patients. Very sadly, Joey lost his battle against cancer in February of 2016.

Joey's life was short but was full of joy. Joey was loved beyond words and missed beyond measures. The Super Joey Foundation will carry forward with his love and courage to help the children and their families who are still fighting cancer.
